David ian

David Ian has come storming onto the comedy circuit and made it his own from the very start. David won Queerovision, has beaten the Gong at Vauxhall Comedy Club and created his own solo stand up show, Mediocre Gay, which sold out at The Camden Fringe and is now travelling around the UK visiting fringes & comedy festivals.  A semi Finalist in the Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of The Year 2022 and featured on BBC Radio David uses stories from his life woven with his dry wit and self deprecating nature to entertain audiences.  He has performed in a wide rang of venues including the world famous Comedy Store in London and Milton Keynes Pride Festival.  David is taking Mediocre Gay to Edinburgh Fringe in August.

After completing his sold out Camden Fringe run David extended the show further with the creation of his new weekly podcast, Mediocre Gay – The Podcast, with his cohost Kate Dale. Every week they interview a different guest about something they love but every one else just thinks is a little bit mediocre.  You can also catch David as one of the hosts of The Queer Comedy Podcast which comes out monthly.
