A relaxed, collaborative evening for comedians, writers, and anyone with a half-formed joke rattling around in their head. The Queer Comedy Writing Jam is your chance to get those ideas out of your notes app and into the room.
Bring a few lines, a half-idea, or a full new bit – you can read, talk it through, or just listen and join the discussion.
It’s not a performance, it’s a playground: a place to find your voice, test ideas, and connect with other creatives who get it. You’ll leave with new material, new confidence, and maybe even a new collaborator.
The session runs from 3 – 5pm, followed by drinks afterwards for anyone who wants to stick around, chat, and swap ideas.
The Writing Jam is free to attend, with a pay-what-you-can donation at the end to help support the space. And while it’s hosted by The Queer Comedy Club, everyone is welcome – queer, ally, new, or seasoned pro.
