Out & About: Queer Expat Comedy

‘Out and About’ is a bi-monthly stand-up comedy showcase celebrating queer comedians living away from the place they once called home.

Featuring a rotating lineup of LGBTQ+ comics from across the world, the show explores identity, culture clash, belonging, dating abroad, accents, visas, chosen family, and all the hilariously specific chaos that comes with being queer and far from home.

Expect sharp stand-up, personal storytelling, and big laughs from performers who bring an international perspective to the UK comedy scene — whether they’re newly arrived or long-term expats who still get asked where they’re “really” from.

Hosted by Kiwi comedian Thomas Clarke, Out and About is a joyful, inclusive night for queer audiences, allies, immigrants, expats, and anyone who’s ever felt a little out of place.
